String Sprouts K.C. performing with the Kansas City Symphony
String Sprouts Kansas City is a groundbreaking, Early Childhood music program for children ages 3-9 with roots in the Suzuki violin method and El Sistema. We bring Sprouts to underserved communities and commit to the students and caregivers for the 5 year curriculum.
Students receive a free violin or cello, 32 free weekly group lessons, quarterly opportunities to perform and an annual concert with a Symphony, UMKC Conservatory is our 2024 partner. In December of 2023, courtesy of Edward Jones, Sprouts K.C. performed in Kauffman Performing Arts Center with the Kansas City Symphony.

In addition, String Sprouts Kansas City provides twice weekly classes for students in two Kansas City Public Schools as part of their Strings pilot program.
