Heartland Chamber Music Junior Festival is 6 exciting days of chamber music coaching, chamber orchestra and masterclasses for selected string students ages 15 and under. Students audition and are placed into small chamber ensembles where they work one-on-one with the faculty for two hours daily in preparation for the final concert.

The Junior Festival is held in conjunction with the Heartland Chamber Music Festival so that students can attend all masterclasses and performances in addition to their own scheduled activities.

Concerto Competition

The first place winner will receive full tuition and a solo concerto performance with the Festival Orchestra.  There are prizes for second and third place as well.  Click here to learn more.

Heartland Chamber Music Jr. Festival is a partnership with JCCC Carlsen Center Arts Education.
