Festival Scholars: July 31 - August 7, 2021
Daily Schedule: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, and evening concerts
Location: Johnson County Community College, Overland Park, KS
Tuition: Free
Audition/Application Due: April 18, 2021
Individual Application Fee: $35
Pre-formed quartet Application Fee: $35 per individual
Audition/Application Requirements:
1. Complete the online application.
2. Submit a letter of recommendation (PDF or Word document accepted).
Send Letters to office@heartlandchambermusic.org.
3. Submit recordings with TWO contrasting selections, for a total length 15- 20 minutes, to best showcase the range of your abilities and musicianship (Youtube, Vimeo, Dropbox, or Google Drive links only)
4. Recording web links can be submitted in your online application or e-mailed to office@heartlandchambermusic.org.
Festival Scholars is a tuition-free opportunity for 8 highly-gifted musicians to receive intense chamber music coaching with the festival artistic director, Jackie Lee and guest artists Scott Lee and the Parker Quartet. Scholars also perform live on Kansas Public Radio and are featured in their own performance on August 6th in Yardley Hall
